The Wireless System
The heart of the Telemetry System is the Gateway Unit. Together with the telemetry nodes the gateway forms a wireless network to safely communicate probe data to the scheduling program.
Router Gateway + Nodes + Probe
Recommended Add-on:
AVC (Automated Valve Control) For a fully automated orchard, look no further than the AVC. The AVC seamlessly integrates into the wireless system. You control when your valves open and for how long. Utilizing probe data the AVC will shut down the pump once enough water has been given. You can opt to use the AVC on a fixed schedule as well. Features: ONE AVC can control two valves, a pressure transducer and a flow meter. Solar Panel comes standard. Comes with a 2 year guarantee. |
Features: Solar Panel (charges in low light conditions effectively) Hardware is internationally approved Eco-friendly Gateway and telemetry has a 2 year guarantee BEST FEATURE: ONE gateway effortlessly handles the data of up to 20 probes! That same gateway can also connect up to 50 AVC units to the internet! The Telemetry Node also connects to a recommended rain gauge add-on to provide you with the means to monitor your water usage where it counts. |

The GSM Unit (Stand Alone System)
The Stand Alone Telemetry Unit is a versatile piece of hardware compatible with a variety of add-ons.
GSM + Probe
Features: Comes standard with solar panel options Communicates directly with scheduling software Converts into a mini weather station with rain gauge Eco-friendly 2 year guarantee BEST FEATURE: Turn the Stand Alone Unit into a mini weather station by connecting a rain gauge and a Davis digital temperature and humidity sensor. |
Recommended Use: Recommended Add-on:
Rain Gauge, Digital Temperature and Humidity Sensor. The rain gauge adds valuable rainfall information which combines with probe data, allowing for greater precision in scheduling and reducing your risk of over-watering. The data from the rain gauge is automatically added to the scheduling software. The rain gauge comes with bird spike options. Tip: For accurate readings make sure your rain gauge is clean and any build-up of fluids and debris are removed regularly. |
Relay Node
The relay node is a nifty piece of hardware that solves potential communication problems which the wireless system might encounter. It smartly bridges the communication gap, keeping your probe data safe and your wireless system functioning optimally. This is a stand alone unit and does not need a probe to function.
BEST FEATURE: One relay node is usually enough to breach all communication problems. The relay is solar powered and comes with a 2yr gaurantee. |
