What service does Electronic Irrigation Solutions provide?
We provide the following service to our clients:
-Assist with the correct setup and configuration of probe sites.
-Evaluation of data for data integrity on each probe as well as the correct installation for each probe.
-Selecting the appropriate set of graphs.
-Appropriate scaling for each graph.
-Setup of top and bottom refill lines for each probe.
-The calculation and setting up of the reservoir size for each probe in order for the software to generate irrigation recommendations.
-Notes to the Customer to ensure that recommendations are understood and interpreted correctly.
-Electronic support to the client for any agronomic and program related queries which may arise.

Why the waiting period?
All our equipment are built new by a manufacturer in Cape Town. This ensures our clients receives only the latest and most updated equipment that is available. A Short waiting period of 3 - 4 weeks after payment of deposit applies. Factors that may influence the waiting period is order size. Larger orders tend to take 4 weeks to complete, whilst smaller orders can be ready within 2 weeks.
Do I need a special server?
Absolutely not! Our technology is completely web-based. The most advanced piece of tech you would need is a tablet or a smart phone with reliable internet connection.
What about the equipment?
Equipment bought (Probes, Wireless nodes and Wireless router) will be the property of the client.
Maintenance includes program updates, phone App updates and replacing faulty units within the warranty period at no extra cost to the client.

Do I need to provide special information?
The client needs to provide the following agronomic related information to the agronomist via normal e-mail:
-Crop and variety
-Planting date
-Irrigation system – pivot/drip/micro/flood
-Acreage of the field/block
-Root Zone management required – yes/no
-Soil map of field/block if available.
-If an automatic rain gauge or flow meter is not connected, applied irrigation need to be made available to the agronomist. Access to accurate irrigation records is crucial in determining a reliable reservoir.
-e-Irrigation can also assist with the taking of a soil sample for texture analyses at an additional cost.
